MaLDoes what Crytek don’t.

Over the past week, I think my vision got progressively worse the more I stared at Rage’s blurry excuse for texturing. Thankfully, Crysis 2 modder MaLDo has helped to straighten my eyesight back out a bit by releasing version 3.0 of his HD texture pack.

Not only did he replace some of the blur, but he also took it upon himself to add Parallax Occlusion Mapping (POM) to many surfaces where it was strangely missing before, such as brick walls, and he even reduced some of the unneeded tessellation that the game has become infamous for.

To get your hands on the mod, check out his blog, and leave him feedback so he can straighten any issues with it out in the future.
